Iconic Mobile Banking App Features

Icon members are now able to manage their debit cards directly from our Iconic Mobile Banking app!

With a few taps, cardholders can block transactions, report a lost or stolen card, limit transactions, and so much more.

Manage Your Cards

 

You can access CardValet through the Manage My Cards option on the Accounts screen or the Cards option in the More menu.

Security Note: If you have logged into Iconic Mobile Banking using your fingerprint, you may be prompted to enter a password before accessing the cards feature. 

 


Limit Transaction Amounts

You can set a maximum amount on a card transaction. If a purchase or ATM transaction is over the amount set, the transaction will be declined. Transaction amount limits apply to online e-commerce transactions as well as in-store transactions and ATM withdrawals.

 

How to Limit Transaction Amounts

  1. Tap Manage My Cards on the Account screen or Cards in the More menu.
  2. Swipe through to select the required card.
  3. Tap Set Card Limits.
  4. Tap Transaction Amount Limit.
  5. Tap Block card transactions and ATM withdrawals over an amount you set to turn it green and set the maximum transaction limit. All transactions above this amount will be declined.
  6. Tap Save.

 


Limit Transaction Locations

You can control where a card can be used by specifying a location radius where transactions are allowed. Location limits apply to in-store and ATM transactions. Online E-commerce transactions are not declined even when a location limit is activated.

 

How to Limit Transaction Locations

  1. Tap Manage My Cards on the Account screen or Cards in the More menu.
  2. Swipe through to select the required card.
  3. Tap Set Card Limits.
  4. Tap Location Limit.
  5. Tap Block Transactions outside a selected area.
  6. Type the address and choose the radius around the address. The radius size defaults to 8 miles.
  7. Tap Save.

 

Location Accuracy

CardValet does its best to accurately estimate transaction locations, but it can’t ensure 100% location accuracy on each transaction. This means that CardValet may authorize transactions slightly outside your submitted locations.

This will rarely affect you unless you have tight location restrictions such as a single ZIP code, city, or small radius. CardValet’s minimum location radius is 8 miles.


Limit Merchant Transactions

You can control how a card is used by choosing to block specific types of merchants. For instance, you can set your teenager’s card to only be able to purchase gas. You can then block all other merchant types for that card. Detailed information is provided about the types of merchants impacted by each block setting. Blocking merchant types applies to online e-commerce transactions as well as in-store transactions.

 

How to Limit Merchant Transactions

  1. Tap Manage My Cards on the Account screen or Cards in the More menu.
  2. Swipe through to select the required card.
  3. Tap Set Card Limits.
  4. Tap Merchant Limit.
  5. Tap Block card transactions at certain types of merchants to turn it green and select the merchant types to block.
  6. Tap Save.


Block International Transactions

Cardholders can control where a card is used by blocking international transactions. E-commerce transactions are not declined even when a location limit is activated.

 

How to Block International Transactions

  1. Tap Manage My Cards on the Account screen or Cards in the More menu.
  2. Swipe through to select the required card.
  3. Tap Set Card Limits.
  4. Tap Block International Transactions.
  5. Tap Save.

 


Block Cards

With a single tap, you can immediately disable a debit card. When a card is blocked, new purchases and ATM transactions will be declined. Teller transactions, existing pending transactions, and recurring transactions will not be blocked. The cardholder can easily remove the block on the card at any time. Changes to the control settings take effect immediately.

If you need to report the card lost or stolen, the cardholder can directly call Icon with a single tap.

 

How to Block Cards

  1. Tap Manage My Cards on the Account screen or Cards in the More menu.
  2. Swipe through to select the required card.
  3. Tap the Block Card.

The Block Card option turns green and Temporarily Blocked is displayed across the card image.

 


Receive Text Alerts

You can receive SMS text alerts for declined debit card transactions based on your card controls setup. You can enable or disable text alerts through your Iconic Online Banking desktop site.

How to Receive Text Alerts

  1. Log into Iconic Online Banking.
  2. Click Mobile on the top menu.
  3. Click Setup.
  4. Agree to the Terms and Services.
  5. Scroll down to Other Services and check Alerts (I’d like to receive text alerts).
  6. Click Continue.
