Icon dealer spotlight: Edmark Superstore
If you have an auto loan with Icon, you know we work tirelessly to ensure your transaction is smooth and as close to effortless as possible. But what you might not know is the depth of the relationships we have with our dealer partners that help make your smooth auto purchase a reality.
“We have a great relationship with Icon,” said Dave Edmark, co-owner of Edmark Chevrolet. “Nancy and the team pick up their phones, they’re aggressive for their members. A lot of banking deals are just computer driven but with Icon, we get to talk to people and help local customers purchase vehicles.”
Icon is particularly proud of its relationship with Edmark, a local auto dealership that was founded in 1927 and remains a family-owned business.
“My dad taught me 40 years ago that some of the most important relationships you have in for your life is your banking relationships,” Edmark said. “We’ve always lived by that premise.”
Icon’s executive vice president and chief lending officer, John Cotner, said Icon’s relationships with dealers is key to providing an elite level of service to members.
“We take a great deal of pride in our dealer relationships,” said John Cotner, executive vice president and chief lending officer at Icon. “Buying a vehicle is a major decision for our members, and it’s important the purchasing process is smooth, predictable and free of surprises. Whether you’re buying your next work truck for your construction or landscaping business or you just need a van or SUV to safely get your kids to school, our goal is to help you snag a low interest rate and a low monthly payment so you can get the vehicle you need and enjoy a totally hassle-free process.”

Now in its 6th year, this important charitable event has collected a total of more than 15,000 pairs of socks for those in need, providing warm, clean socks to help those in your community endure Idaho’s cold winter months. Thank you for your support and here’s to setting a new record in 2015!
Icon joins the 2015 Festival of Trees
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve once again joined with St. Alphonsus to sponsor a tree in the Festival of Trees!
This important event ran from November 25-29, 2015 and Icon’s participation marks the third appearance for us. In 2013, our “Flocking of Stockings” tree won first place in the Amateur Traditional category, and its sale to Boise State President Bob Kustra helped raise critical funds to help improve health care in our community.
This year, our tree was called “For the little monkeys” and with the help of a dozen or so Icon volunteers, we decked out our tree with sock monkeys, adorable baby socks and other decorations to draw attention to our sock drive and the important young recipients of your donated socks. We’re thrilled to say this year’s tree was purchased and donated to a local children’s organization!
