Here’s to a wonderful 2016!

by Connie Miller, President and CEO

Dear Valued Member,

With 2015 in our rear view mirror, I’m excited to put into action our plans for 2016!

Thanks to your membership, Icon continues to make a big impact in our community and help improve the financial lives of tens of thousands of members across Idaho and Oregon. And with your help, I believe 2016 can be even greater!

From the launch of our new, user-friendly website last summer to our philanthropic efforts through our nonprofit partnerships and our sock drive, Icon has continually sought new ways to enhance the lives of our members and those who live in the communities we serve. And I can’t thank you enough for your feedback through this exciting time of growth.

In fact, since launching our member survey program in October, we’ve received dozens of comments, thoughts and member service testimonials from members, further helping us refine our member experience and ensure your best interest is always at the forefront of our mission as a credit union. It is your voice, as a member and shareholder of Icon Credit Union, that guides us in our ongoing effort to develop products, services and programs to help make sense of your finances and lead a healthy financial life.

Lastly, I would like to thank you for the privilege to lead your credit union. I may be a little biased, but I believe we have the greatest credit union members in the nation and I know I speak on behalf of our entire staff when I say you are what makes Icon such a special credit union!

Happy holidays and best wishes for a prosperous 2016!

Resolved: go digital for the new year

We know – change can be hard. But what better time to dive into the unknown than at the beginning of a new year, and with a credit union that offers so much cool stuff online? Just to give you a little help in the right direction, here’s your New Year’s resolution list for eBanking services to help prevent identity theft and handle your finances more efficiently:1. Enroll in Online Banking. Icon’s Online Banking interface is easy to use, almost as robust as going to a branch and it’s available 24/7, even when the roads are icy and you don’t want to leave home just to make a simple transfer or pay a bill.

2. Sign up for eStatements. eStatements are more secure than paper statements because they don’t go through the mail, plus they’re stored securely for you to access for up to two years! Save the space in your filing cabinet and call us today to sign up. It only takes a moment!

3. Enroll in Bill Pay. Icon’s enhanced Bill Pay service makes paying bills as simple as snapping your finger! Forget wasting all that money on stamps, envelopes and checks and let us take care of the logistics for you. It’s what we’re here to do!

To sign up for these services (and even more), give us a call at (208) 344-7948. We promise it will be the best decision you make this year!
